The 4th of July is my favorite holiday. I have found memories as a child with my family celebrating the 4th of July. I grew up in a little gold mining town in California called Nevada City. We would go up to Main Street and watch the local parade in the morning. Later we would walk back to my Great Aunt’s house. She always threw the best parties and for the 4th she would throw this amazing BBQ in her back yard for all her family and friends. After the BBQ we would watch the County fireworks from my parent’s deck. Fireworks were always amazing and still are one of my favorite parts of the 4th of July.
I now get to share my love of the holiday with my kids. I still love fireworks and my daughter loves them as much as I do. I have put together a few of my favorite spots in Loudoun County to see fireworks this 4th of July. I hope you get a chance to enjoy the holiday and the fireworks like me and my family will.
